Upon discovering that Prabhupada had married his daughter to the Chief of Naimisharan, whom he had desired for his own daughter, Chief Surinder was taken aback. Prabhupada had previously informed him about the circumstances surrounding Dhani's marriage to His Highness Aatreya and his four brothers on the day he returned to Veerapalli after the wedding, although Chief Surinder’s thoughts were inclined towards a different plan.

Aatreya commanded the doorkeepers to allow his entry into the court. Adorned with a gray turban, a white stola draped over his left shoulder, and a red jasper necklace around his neck, Chief Surinder made his entrance. His daughter, nearly matching his height, followed closely behind. With a bronze complexion, voluminous curls cascading down, wide expressive eyes, and bow-shaped lips, she wore a brown ghagra (long skirt) paired with a matching dupatta (veil) and an off-white choli (blouse), complemented by a long brown jasper necklace and numerous lakh bangles adorning her wrists.
