In one of the palace’s grand chambers, Mata Belavati and Mata Ketaki were present with some maidservants. This vast hall was the dining room of the palace. For the meal of the five princes, along with Nivid and Prabhupad, the maidservants had arranged six low wooden tables and peedhas in two rows and one at the head.
The five princes entered the dining hall with Nivid, laughing and teasing one another.
