The sun was rising in the east. Its rays touched the rippling waters of the Pampa River. On both sides of the river, green grass stretched out.
This river passed through Naimisharan's southern edge. Right beside it lay the village of Kaushambi, the principal village of Naimisharan, where Aatrey lived with his brothers.
