The next morning Dhani came out of her chamber. She was dressed as a newlywed, in red attire and ornamented with jewelry. Her maids had helped her get dressed. As a custom, the first thing for a newlywed bride in her new house would have been to greet her elders, especially her mother-in-law. Thus, she decided to go to her mother-in-laws first. To her surprise, they were already waiting for her. Queen Mother Ketaki stood up from her seat when she saw Dhani enter the room they were sitting in. 

“Greetings! Queen Mother!” Dhani said and bowed her head down. Ketaki observed her for a few seconds.
